Re: [Radiant] I added the page_attachments plugin and the site stopped working

2007-09-04 Thread Dylan Nichols
I had some problems getting an app with the page_attachments extension
running in development mode with ImageScience installed as a gem. After
removing the gem it seemed to work fine and I just went with RMagick. I'm
using Mongrel.

I'm going to have another crack at getting ImageScience to work though as it
sounds pretty good.

Chris,

My guess is that it is something about your Litespeed environment. The
user that Litespeed runs as definitely needs permission to write to tmp/
and public/ under your Radiant installation. Make sure those are OK and
then if you can, post your production.log in a pastie.

I'm making mine live at the moment now I've finally got my hosting

that I'll be making available once it's all finished, hopefully by
the end of this week. I'll post to the list once it's done.

Re: [Radiant] I added the page_attachments plugin and the site stopped working

2007-09-04 Thread Chris Dwan
Extensions: yes — I have a basic custom extension and the reorder
extension.

I have ImageScience and RMagick. I have a bunch of Mephisto sites on
the server using ImageScience (was originally using RMagick but
switched over)

I tried blowing away the page_attachments folder and I'm back in
business using Litespeed. So Litespeed server definitely doesn't
like something about page_attachments.
I tried upgrading Litespeed and ruby-lsapi gem to the latest and that
didn't do it for page_attachments either.

Have you tried wrapping the code in a CDATA tag? Textile might ignore that.

Let me correct : when I posted my message about snippets, I did not
actually test it because I already had converted all my form to pure
HTML and simply deactivated Textile filter.

But now I have another form, which is still using Textile. And I
included my snippet, containing the JavaScript. And the JavaScript is
again f***d up! So I added the ... tag and it
looks better, but one character remains converted: it's & (the
ampersand) that is converted to &

And I really need it because I can't use the JavaScript AND operator
(&&)! Do you know how to stop Textile from escaping the ampersand?

Thank you.
