[SlimDevices: Radio] Can't listen to World Cup Broadcasts
Hi I am trying to listen to the World Cup broadcasts on radio 5, however I get a "unfortunately the rights do not allow for this program to be broadcast" However, I can listen to them on my laptop on the same internet connection. I use presets and have had similar problems. What I found helpful is to turn SBRadio on with the power button, then hit the preset. At this point I see at the lower left screen the square stop icon is showing. If I stop here the Radio usually goes off but if I press play (right arrow) it usually stays on. Occasionally, after hitting play it will show the pause icon in the lower left screen and turn off but hitting play again will restore it. So, power on/preset/play. Has anybody else noticed the stop or pause icons present when the Radio shuts off? ziza -- ziza ziza's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35866 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79549 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Problems since upgrading from 7.4.x to 7.5.x
No - it happens both while power plugged in and on battery. It actually connects for a few seconds and then disconnects. I've not had any problems with other devices on that wifi access point. I just did a check of what wifi channels are currently in use around me and reconfigured my access point to try to avoid conflicts, but still have the same problem. I've not ever used the alarm. I did just find the SSH option and connected in and looked through /var/log/messages. I get this same basic pattern repeating over and over - about every 10 seconds. [SlimDevices: Radio] Is there any solution to the disappearing preset bug?
I recently got my wife a Radio to use in the bathroom. To make it easier for her, I set the presets to her favorite Sirius channels and one local channel. This morning, my wife came downstairs and wanted to know where all her presets went. A quick search of this forum revealed that this is a known issue that is affecting many users. Has anyone come up with a solution? Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Can IR receiver be disabled?
There's an easier way: use Erland's Patch manager addon. This provides a mechanism for applying patches on the Squeezeplay player. There is a patch to disable IR remote. The benefit is that these patches can be automatically applied after firmware updates, and you can enable/disable the patches at any time (so if you want to use IR Remote one day, you can re-enable it at the player by unticking the patch in the addon). -- Philip Meyer Philip Meyer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=95 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69634 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
