Covers and Station Logos dissapear after a second. Sometimes when they are shown, they stuck after changing the station. Sometimes it helps to disconnect from mysqueezebox.com, sometimes I have to reeboot and sometimes even rebooting doesn't help. 2. I ask only because I am in the UK and my Radio reports that it is connected to a server in Ashburn, VA. Running 7.5.1.r9009 and mysb. While I am experiencing the freeze of now playing information, sometimes many times in an evening, I have never lost my presents. Once the freeze occurs I have always had to reboot, however now I have discovered that instead I can simply do: Settings>Advanced>Networking>Choose Network>Connect to wirelsss network> and then select the network shown as available. It then disconnects and reconnects after which point the screen is unfrozen. I've just come home with my brand new SR. Read the quick manual and plug it in Surprize !!! The Logitech logo comes on the screen and I wait to get the menu. Nooo, the logo goes off and after 5 seconds come back again, stays 1 minute and then off again ... so on and so forth. What is wrong? Should I change the SR? [SlimDevices: Radio] Firmware 7.60 r9135 - Display dimming not working anymore
Hi, I upgraded to the latest Radio firmware 7.60 r9135 yesterday, and noticed that the display doesn't dim anymore. Of course it's set to automatic brightness control, but it stays bright all the time, even in total darkness. That's quite odd - the dimming was the only feature that constantly kept working reliable through all updates. [SlimDevices: Radio] How to clean "genres" in "play random"
With the help of the freeware Mp3tag, I was able to reduce the many differente names used for genres in the Tags. Mine dims, maybe the range is less than before before mine was really hard to read in the dark in previus beta . To wipe out empty genres in MP3Tag: Load your whole music collection, and sort it by genre. You can do so by clicking at the genre row. The list should start with the empty ones. Just mark them, and then in the tag panel on the left click remove. I'm pretty shure this can bescripted in a better way, as Mp3Tag has a highly sophisticated scripting function. Of course I'm aware of the minimal brightness function. But even with this set to a absolute mininum, it has no effect - the radio lights up the room in total darkness. It was working well with all previous firmwares. I was just wondering why something breaks with nearly every update, that has been working before.
