Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Switched to mysqueezebox.com, can't switch back

Possibly the computer was given a different IP address after restart, your Radio is looking for the old IP of the SBS server. With SBS running try using the Radio to switch to SBS. - Radio My Music *switch to SBS should be offered* - Radio Switch Library *switch to SBS should be offered* The Switch Library menu item may need to be added to your Home Menu. - Radio Settings Home Menu Switch Library *select* -- toby10 toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82716 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Alarm is awful.
I run Squeezebox Server on a Thecus N5200 Pro that is on 24/7. For me the alarm has worked correctly probably around 70% of the time, the other 30% of the time it plays the extremely irritating default noise. This morning for the first time ever, the alarm simply failed to go off. Not Good! Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Switched to mysqueezebox.com, can't switch back
I went to Switch Library, and selected my machine. It was listed by the machine's .local name (MacBook-Pro-90.local). When I selected it, it tried connecting for a few seconds, then gave me the error Problem connecting: We couldn't connect to MacBook-Pro-90.local. FYI, the .local name is still the same for this machine, and so is the IP address -- it's always 192.168.1.100 within my local network. Is there any way to make the Radio forget about this server, so I can try again from scratch, without resetting everything to the factory defaults? Thanks for you help so far. I'd try a complete network reboot (router, computer, players). Something odd is going on in your network. -- toby10 toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82716 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Alarm is awful.
Indeed I don't count the times when the alarm failed partly or completely any more. It's much simpler to count the times when it worked more or less ok. It's not like I need more than the fingers on one hand to count that in the last month(s). Honestly I can't remember when it worked completely flawlessly the last time. Must have been back in February or so. -- 0xdeadbeef 0xdeadbeef's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2287 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82092 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Switched to mysqueezebox.com, can't switch back
Tried that -- no luck. I ended up resetting the Radio to its factory settings, and then it finally started working. Ugh, what a painful process. Anyway, thanks again for your help. -- jweber jweber's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=161 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82716 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Switched to mysqueezebox.com, can't switch back
I noticed that you've 'lost' your Squeezebox receiver somewhere, and your controller can't find it. ... I've done the same thing, I think ... somehow in the remote player, I've managed to make it think I want to play through my computer, and not my receiver ... I didn't want to do that, but now I can't seem to undo what I've done. Mine seems to now say that it's looking for Mozilla, not the Squeezebox receiver. You seemed frustrated by the responses you've got ... have you found a solution? Hope so, cause I'd love to hear it. -- memulligan memulligan's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41061 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82716 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Switched to mysqueezebox.com, can't switch back
I'm not sure you're describing the same problem I had. But I solved mine by resetting the Squeezebox Radio to the factory defaults, then connecting it to the wireless network again from scratch. -- jweber jweber's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=161 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82716 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
