Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] add new radiostations
bitbonk;587302 Wrote: > How do I add new radio stations and new categories to my sequeezebox > radio menu? Can't add new categories onto the home menu. The "Internet Radio" item that's on the SBRadio home menu by default seems to be a slimmed down version of the RadioTime app without the "My Presets" item. So you would establish an account on RadioTime.com, go through the available stations & add the ones you want to your radiotime presets, remove the "Internet Radio" home menu item from you SBRadio, and add the RadioTime app from MySqueezebox.com onto the home menu in it's place. Then, it's just a matter of selecting the RadioTime app from your home menu then select the first item, "My Presets". Or of course, you could log in to MySB.com, go to the "Favorites" tab, add the url's of your favorites, then go to the "Favorites" item on the home menu. -- BLatSD BLatSD's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38631 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83090 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

You can't add arbitrary menu items, you can add or delete menu items as stated above. If using the SBS server via the web UI you can add folders and sub-folders to your Favorites, then organize them as you wish. There you can use drag & drop, cut & paste, etc... -- toby10 toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83090 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Maybe if you described what you mean by "configuration". Menu's? MySB account info? Apps? Server switching? Customizing Now Playing info? the configuration itself must be stored locally because it remembers what I configured. The SB itself is dumb. It has no configuration except finding a server. (Well, except the touch...) You can install SqueezeBoxServer on a machine on your network and configure -that-. The Touch is a bit different: it has its own interface to configure itself, but unless you've attached storage to it, there really isn't much to configure. Again, on everything but the Touch: there isn't anything stored locally to configure. -- snarlydwarf snarlydwarf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1179 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83089 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
