Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] mysqueezebox.com down again.

2011-04-09 Thread ninjarobot

My squeezebox radio also keeps dropping the (any) selected station every
few minutes. I need to either select the station and play again, or
press play to continue.

Even when not playing a station the menu keeps losing its apps and
internet radio selection items every 2 minutes or so. I don't have any
network issues with my WiFi (the wifi icons remains white) and
streaming the same stations over tunein radio on my android phone works
fine.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Organize Favorites

2011-04-09 Thread azphil

That's what I thought but wasn't sure of. Looks like I'll keep on doing
what I'm doing as it is working well for me.
I have a Tivoli Audio iPAL and a Sansa Fuze MP3 player for my music
library which is why SBS isn't needed. No sense for me to have a
computer run just for
better organization of radio stations.
It's hard to believe Logitech has such a basic Favorite list.

Yes, SBS only works on a running computer, all Favorites reside on the
server not the player.

How did you set it up? Do you need to keep your computer on for this
or does it permanently reside in the SB?

Thanks. I just opened an account at Bugzilla but it's not letting me
sign. I went through the email verification thing and it should have
allowed me to sign in. I'll give it some time.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] "Internet radio" is gone!

2011-04-09 Thread toby10

General FYI, my Touch lost it's Internet Radio menu item yesterday as
well. A quick reboot got it back.

I think they are doing some serious MySB updates or something. My Boom
on MySB keeps waking the screen and front panel buttons several times an
hour.
It is set to completely dark while playing (idle) so something is
causing it to come out of "idle". Screen correctly displays station,
it does not indicate any loss of connection.
Dunno, just a thought. :)

If you mean actually switching servers from SBS to MySB.com, then your
player is correctly registered on MySB.com, but that is different than
your SBS server being properly validated with MySB.com. As suggested,
check SBS > Settings > MySqueezeBox.com, make sure your MySB login info
is present and you do not see any "Invalid MySB account" messages.

Another check is to navigate your player to My Apps while connected to
SBS, if SBS allows you to utilize your Apps without switching you to
MySB then your SBS is correctly configured with MySB.

Using anything in the SBS > Internet Radio menu item (when in is
present ;)) does not require any MySB account whatsoever.
