Hi, I've had the same idea (avoid manually switching on my Squeezebox Radio every time I enter the bathroom) and have come up with a somewhat clumsy but working hack. You can read out the ambient light sensor from the Squeezebox's ssh shell - and it is also possible to at least mute/unmute the audio from the shell, as well. I've put together a small script (bathrooms) which mutes the Radio when the ambient brightness drops below a threshold (light off), and unmutes it when the brightness rises above a threshold (light on). [SlimDevices: Radio] Auto dim display
Is there any way to shut off the auto dim display? i don't want the display to dim after 10 sec, i use the radio at work. i try to change the display brightnes from auto to manuel and nothig has change. i try putting the min brightness (auto) to max and no change. Well, the easiest is to use Settings > Shuffle on the Radio's menu. [SlimDevices: Radio] where's the random buttom?

That's all well and good and I get that you are restructuring for a more video centric visual experience. But it seems silly to not also supply a simple audio only stream as well. Make it 32k, doesn't matter considering the content. I highly doubt Logitech is going to bother getting into licensing issues with Bloomberg, especially not if you are asking for licensing fees. Nor are the SqueezeBox players capable of natively streaming your chosen streaming formats (that I know of). What stream aggregators are all of your streams available on? IHeartRadio? StreamTheWorld? vTuner? Reciva? If any, in what format???
