[SlimDevices: Radio] SB Radio not responding...

2012-05-21 Thread acr-ted

Earlier today I went to change the station on my SB Radio and it would
not repond! The radio was locked up on the current station and refused
to change, and then it also refused to respond to the power off button
so I could re-boot. After unplugging the Radio and then plugging back
in, it did re-boot, but now the ethernet connection logo is red and
nothing happens at all. Several re-boots later (and also re-booted the
router and cable modem) it still shows red. However in the ethernet info
panel it shows it is connected!!

So just what is going on here???

Thanks for any help!

Ted

I'm getting exactly the same thing on both of mine.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] SB Radio not responding...

2012-05-21 Thread tdnuerf

+1 for my SBRadio
+1 for my Duet Controller
+1 for iPeng on miPhone
(none of these SB players / remotes are operational -- they either show
the red wireless icon or (in iPeng's case) don't see my SB environment)

My Boom is working fine.

Interesting note: mysqueezebox.com sees all of my players, and I can
control my SBRadio from the web Remote Control, but the SBRadio itself
still shows the red wireless icon and is entirely unresponsive when
using the buttons on the unit itself.

Interesting note 2: I can control all of my players via iPeng if I
disable miPhone's WiFi -- meaning I'm coming into mysqueezebox.com from
outside my network. But my network, aside from me power-cycling
everything multiple times in an effort to resolve this issue, is the
same as it was a couple of days ago, when everything worked (and all SB
players are wirelessly connected to my router just fine, and running
SBController's SBRadio's Check Network diagnostic works fine,
reporting that All network tests passed successfully.)

???

Same thing over here with my SB Radio. I am getting a red wireless
symbol after connecting to mysqueezebox.com. Tonight I switched over
from ATT DSL to ATT U-Verse. After I hooked up the new router I went
to the squeezebox radio to set it up. I noticed a red wireless symbol
and figured it was because it was still trying to connect to my old
router. I set it up to hit the new router and same red wireless. I
turned on the squeezebox server on my PC and was able to hit Pandora,
Sirius, and everything else while the wireless symbol went WHITE!
Then...turned off the server and tried to go back to mysqueezebox.com
and it went red again.

Sidenote: After I setup my new U-verse router, I tried hooking up the
squeezebox to no avail. Then I went on to successfully hook up 3 DVR's,
Wii, PS3, 3 Kindles, a Blu-Ray player and 2 iPhones. So I KNOW it's not
a router issue.

My squeezebox has red icon not connecting. My network in my home
recognizes the radio. Why does logitech ignore this issue, at least
acknowledge it's on their end.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] SB Radio not responding...

Update...while I still cannot connect via the wired Ethernet connection,
I can (and did) connect via my next door neighbor's unsecured wireless
router.

There is nothing wrong with the wired Ethernet connection to the Radio,
so obviously Logitech has screwed up something.

Given that a lot of others are reporting the same or similar problems I
can rule out a bad SB Radio.
