[SlimDevices: Radio] Radio clock display
I decided to take a Radio with me on a work trip -- usually take a Boom, but the radio is smaller and I just got it so thought I'd spend some time with it. I did not expect to connect to the hotel network, just play music from my tablet via the line-in. Which is working fine. But when I first arrived and set it up, it displayed the clock when turned off. Now the clock is never displayed, on or off. I'd like it to be on and can't for the life of me figure out how to enable it. I've been through all the menus. I also notice that there is no way to set the time, which implies a dependency on the network for getting the time setting. I have a hunch that it is network dependent, which would be too bad. If you can tell me there is a way to get back the clock, I'd appreciate it. Didn't have the time yet to compare both plugged in, but I'll do that soon. reinholdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36070 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96609 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Although I know that it's certainly possible to get a sound difference by using different parts, I assumed that Logitech tries to keep the sound characteristics the same. reinholdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36070 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96609 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

That's what begin to think, but more in line with different drivers that have a different sound or some other part difference. My idea with the battery compartment ,the plastic chassi is not very thick and the battery cavity large vas the speaker " box " so it would create different acoustics and the battery could dampen things a bit . But I don't have two radios, never tried .
