Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] 2 more sb , now where best place to get remote and battery ???

2013-11-25 Thread toby10

Yes, both remotes will work. The second one is for the SB3/Classic
player.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] how to I add another SBR?

2013-11-25 Thread toby10

Try a Factory Reset on the SB Radio, it should ask for your MySB.com
login info. It will say “this player is already registered to …… “.
Scroll down (might be below screen) to “create a new MySB.com login”,
enter your correct MySB.com login email and password.

SB Radio Factory Reset =
- power off Radio (press hold POWER button, see goodbye on screen)
- press hold “+” button
- power ON Radio
- continue holding “+” until you see Factory Settings Restored
- wait till Radio completely reboots on it’s own

Under settings it shows an address of unlin...@slimdevices.com
How do I change all of this and add it to my account???

Get in touch with support - they usually can sort this out quickly. Or send me
a mail with your player's MAC address (mherger ät logitech dott com).

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] New Squeezebox Radio

2013-11-25 Thread HeadBanger

I picked up a UE Radio for my youngest daughter whilst in the States
last week on business. It upgraded to the latest UE firmware as soon as
I switched it on. I then chose the option to upgrade it to a SB Radio
which it then completed without issue.

The new radio shows a different (more recent) firmware version than that
of my original radio and both say that they are upto date. Does the UE
Radio converted to SB have to run on a slightly different firmware
version?

Yes. Newer UESRs come with some minor hardware changes which require the
updated firmware. But there's not functional change in there.

[SlimDevices: Radio] How to play region locked stations again?

2013-11-25 Thread NiteFlame

Hi Guys,

the use of my two radios is very basic (no server, just playing internet
radio) and i have a problem which hopefully could be solved by someone
here.

we are located in germany and since our last trip to the US we are
listening to a station called 95.9 The Fish everyday. until the end of
october we are not able to play it. any attempt ends with a 403 message
appearing on the sb radio.

i discovered that i was not able to play back the audio stream the
station homepage is providing, too. it says that this station is not
available in my area. but it played back properly after i started a vpn
connection using a end point somewhere in the US.

is there a chance to get my sb radio connected via vpn? any other
suggestion would also be really appreciated.
