[SlimDevices: Radio] Radio lost display and screensaver options following 7.72
Hi - My Squeezebox Radio appears to have lost most of the settings on the Basic Settings screen following the LMS 7.72 upgrade last night. All other Squeezeboxen (Classics and Boom) are fine. The only settings I now see on the Radio Basic Settings screen are: Player Name Play Other Songs in Album Reset Player Preferences (and Player Information) As a result, I don't have any screensavers on my Radio. OK - so I've been trying out Custom Clock for the last couple of days and it looks great. I have come up against a problem, however... One of the custom skins I've created in the Custom Clock Helper app appears to be corrupt. It works OK on the Radio, however my browser just waits forever when I try to select it from the dropdown menu in Logitech Media Server. Update - uninstalling and reinstalling Custom Clock on the radio has restored my ability to change the Custom Clock settings - however I can no longer see any of my custom skins listed. Seems that I can reproduce the currupt skins issue: if I try to delete the blank option at the top of the Items drop down, the skin becomes corrupt and uneditable. Firstly, please forgive the multiple posts. I've now got rid of the corrupt skins by deleting the customclockhelper.prefs file, but I still have the issue that none of my customisations are pushed to the radio. This includes any new skins that I create or even changes (simple font colours, etc) to existing skins. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Radio app and Media Server plugin without success. Any advice appreciated. [SlimDevices: Radio] New Squeezebox Radio: best practise questions
Hi all - Just received a Radio for Christmas (to join my Boom and 3 SB Classics). I'd be grateful for some comments on how to best set it up. In particular: - Are there any good screensaver plugins I should be aware of? (It would be nice to see the time that the alarm is set for on the clock screen, for example) - I'm a SuperDateTime addict (at least on my VFD devices). Unfortunately, SDT does not seem to be able to be used as a screensaver on the Radio - it only appears under Extras. Is this correct, or am I missing something? - Is there anything similar to Michael Herger's excellent MusicInfoSCR screensaver (a fully customisable alternative to Now Playing screen)?
