Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] new radio, mixed experience so far
Add me as well! I`m using Win7 and latest SBS 7.5.1. And I`m so tired of all the connecting problems so I really don,t know what to to anymore. Before, a month ago, I had Win XP and never had anything near how it works today. Can´t go back to XP as it does not work with my new pc. It´s connecting-problems every time and the only solution so far is to reinstall SBS and no restart of the pc. Static IP on the router for both the Radio and pc. In diagnostic everything seems all right re. ip and connecting to Mysqueezebox.com usually works. But when trying to connect locally, as you understand now, no luck. My opinion is that the SBR is incompatible Win7. It´s a big big mess and many times I`m thinking of smash it in the wall. And so many hours sitting and trying and trying again .. -- Kooorpen Kooorpen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37379 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82524 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
[SlimDevices: Radio] SBS playlist?
Why can´t I play any title that I will from my PC? Sometime it works but for the most the message is Nothing and written above Current playlist. What is wrong? The only way to play from that folder is to press play when I marked (standing at) the folder where the title is saved. If I go further in to the folder and press any title in I get the above mentioned message. I other words, does SBR need so called playsists for every title that is saved in my main folder. And in that case, can I disable that function so I can play what ever I want? Running latest SBS (Version: 7.5.1 - r30836) and Win7. And now I discover that the server informs the above r30836 and the Radio itself r9009! I`m getting nuts over this! -- Kooorpen Kooorpen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37379 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82513 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Why the need for 2 Server Types
garym;578692 Wrote: Try the server power control plugin on your local instance of SqueezeboxServer, and you can set things up to switch over to mysqueezebox.com automatically (among other things). However, my recommendation is to run a dedicated small headless server 24/7 running SbS, then you never need to think about switching. The vortexbox appliance is plug play, quiet, headless, and low power use. And where do I find server power control? I looked in Plug-in with no luck as you understand. So can you give me a hint where to look. The closest is PowerSave under show all 3rd party plugins. Running the latest version 7.5.1 and Win7. In other words, no luck so far. -- Kooorpen Kooorpen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37379 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82162 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] RadioTime App and Local Radio Station
Same for me and I live in Sweden. When I press a button for a station for Radio Sweden (SR) I get buffering 13% and no more. Possibly 21% but no sound in the end. Tried resetting all hardware but nothing helps. What I feel about it I won´t express hear. :( -- Kooorpen Kooorpen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37379 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80006 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Install the third party Patch Installer applet through Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer 2. Install the Low Volume Fallback Alarm patch through Settings/Advanced/Patch Installer (you have to uncheck the Recommended Patches Only checkbox to be able to see it) The patch will change the volume to 20 instead of the default 43. The Patch Installer applet requires 7.5, so this procedure won't work for users using 7.4.* or earlier releases. Or did you mean Patch not applied, failure during patching. For more information see /tmp/PatchInstaller.rej ? 1. Yes I did, sorry :( 2. Yes it said just so. :( Thank you anyhow for the patch.
