[SlimDevices: Radio] 24/12 Hour clock on SB Radio
Somehow my SBRadio now shows a 24 hr clock instead of the 12hr clock that it used to show. I have installed SuperDateTime and Custom Clock Helper. I have gone through all the menus and still can't find the control to change it. Would appreciate anyone pointing me to the setting that will fix things. No, the screen shows charging for a few seconds and then reverts to showing wall power. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] HQRP battery
My 2011 manufacturred Logitech battery no longer keeps a charge and has these values Vmon1 3.9 Vmon2 7.7 Battery Temp: 20.6C Battery Voltage: 13.5V Wall Voltage: 18.1 Clearly I need a new battery, but can anyone tell me if this looks like the charger could be the problem? Radio runs fine on wall power and screen ocassionally shows Charging, but if I unplug the wall charger the Radio goes blank and won't function until power is restored from wall. slartibartfast wrote: > Having read good reports about these batteries I ordered one from Amazon > and it was delivered today. I did have a friend check the wall adaptor with a multimeter and he claims that he got no reading. I'm not sure that he's correct but it's likely. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Take apart squeezebox radio case
I got mine open, and don't know what to do next! This unit was in use by an older relative. (she's now using an Amazon Echo) and was exhibiting power problems for a few days by not powering up or displaying a low battery message. It then died completely and would not power up either via power cable or battery. I have removed the battery and opened the unit. I see no obvious signs of damage, but did find some black grit in places on the main board. It feels like it may be part of the case but I can't confirm that. I have cleaned it up and plugged it in, but had no joy. I don't have another power supply of a smiliar 18V output. I do have a working Squeezebox Classic which has a 5V power supply. Could I try that? I'm completely out of my depth here, but simply can't dump this unit without trying to revive it. Can anyone give me a guide as to what my next diagnostic steps should be? Pictures attached thanks for any help on this. +---+ |Filename: case-2.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=24926| +---+ Sb42's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10692 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79928 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

[SlimDevices: Radio] How to connect Radio to Squeezecentre?
I've got a Radio and it's using my wifi network happily and working playing Radio. It's connected to mysqueezebox.com but I want it to use BBCiplayer which means I need it to connect to Squeezecentre. When I try to select the Radio from the PC in the Squeezecentre Web Console I get a message of 'this device is connect to mysqueezebox, do you want to connect to Squeezecentre?' I click yes but it doesn't change. [SlimDevices: Radio] Squeezebox Radio and BBC - quickstart
ok, so I've got the Radio on the way as a Christmas present for my Mother. She loves outside of the UK, and will really be happy to have wider access to UK radio. I already have SB3s in my house and use BBCiplayer to access the BBC programs. I assume that I will have to install Squeezecentre and BBCiplayer on my Mother's PC for her to have the same functionality that I have on the SB3 - since I have to do the setup remotely, is there anything different doing this with the Radio than with the SB3?
