Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Radio server on my Ready NAS!

2018-03-04 Thread bernt

You also need this plugin. lms_1.0.9_all.deb

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ie9pwk1wut72ias/AAASNUx2cSo0TNIqRjNXime9a/Logitech%20Media%20server/7.8.0?dl=0

But you need to uninstall LMS from NASTools first. You do that on the
Apps page.

It should look like this then you are done.

24651

1. Uninstall LMS from NASTools.
2. Install the latest LMS. Logitech Media Server: Debian Installer
Package (ARM). http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.9
3. Install lms_1.0.9_all.deb.

If you want to use Spotty. Read this.

Audio Pro C5 has preset button, Airplay and Spotify Connect.

If you use LMS, install AirPlay bridge and use as a SB.

+1

LMS on Vortexbox is extremely stable. Had it running for years without
any problems.

Using WPA (WPA2 mode) could improve stability.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] How do I Connect to Home Server across Internet?

2009-12-03 Thread bernt

There may be a way to do this. Have a look at http://www.neorouter.com.
It has some proxy capabilities.

This may or may not work. Haven't tried it.

Install Neorouter server on any computer (the SBS?).
Install Neorouter client on the SBS.
Install Neorouter client and proxy on a computer at the remote lan.
Point your Radio to the proxy.

There could be other ways to do this i guess. Some kind of routing or
something?

Or vote here.
