Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Static IP on Radio?
You can set a static ip if you can ssh into it and know some linux. At least I've done it on the touch. But you'll need to either use dhcp to ssh into it or set up a straight line connection with no dhcp to begin with. This is an irritating bug which needs squashing. This is not a user friendly approach and if you don't know Linux theres going to be a learning curve. -- markn markn's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14846 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72803 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Router or Switch
I dont know about your ISP but a decent router is certainly the most flexible solution and will improve your internet security too. -- markn markn's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14846 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71765 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
[SlimDevices: Radio] Openvpn?
Does anyone think theres enough horespower to run openvpn on the radio. Is this a crazy idea? I don't know. If a low power router can run it I'd think the radio could?
