Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Wi-Fi 6
An update to my post of 24/1. Even with Wi-fi 6 AX mode disabled for 2.4ghz band and ip address reserved for the Touch, intermittent disconnection occurs. iPeng says player not found. Touch will not connect to LMS music folder running on PC. Takes two consecutive reboots of Touch to reconnect. The battle continues ... syrah's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=54856 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112167 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Cannot Connect to mysqueezebox.com from Squeezebox Radio
I have two SBTs. LMS 7.9 runs on a Windows 10 PC. I can play all radio stations available through LMS. However, when the PC (and LMS is not running) I CAN connect to mysqueezebox.com and play those radio stations on one SBT but CANNOT do the same on the other SBT. Both SBTs are running 7.8.0. The SBT that won't connect to mysqueezebox.com will try to connect to mysqueezebox.com and fail, OR, it will try to connect to the music folder on the local win machine that had LMS running (and obviously also fail because LMS is not running). syrah's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=54856 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108930 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Wi-Fi 6
Thought I'll share my experience here as well. Recently swapped out a Nighthawk R7000 for an Asus RT-AX86U. I have two SBTs and they would initially connect and play but would eventually lose connection (not sure whether to the Asus or to LMS which is running on a PC connected wirelessly to the Asus via 5Ghz). Disabling Wi-fi 6 AX mode on the Asus 2.4Ghz radio did appear to resolve the issue BUT the connection was still not as solid as it used to be with the R7000. It would drop out momentarily (iPeng would say Player not found) and then come back after some buffering. This happened quite consistently with AX mode disabled. Eventually I tried disabling the auto channel selection (Control Channel, manually set and NOT in auto mode). Thus far the connection has been more stable and reliable. 802.11a syrah's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=54856 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112167 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
