Yes the splitting into small chapters would make it difficult to download and manage. The streams from the iplayer are now in WMA format I think though so do you think this is a possibility? Hi Triode, The fast forward responce and speed through programs could be improved which would be good. At the moment if listening to a three hour long listen again content pressing forward and then forward again is how to fast forward but if you miss time the presses the program restarts from the begining. A quicker fast forward would be an advantage such as starts slow and gets quicker the longer the button is held down. A great solution would be to enable say a chapter advance where each press advances say 10-15 mins but suspect that would need to be enabled in the broadcast. Will try and put that forward as a suggestion to the BBC site. Hi, I noticed this after the latest firmware update. It seems to happen when you switch the player out of standby to on but don't play anything straight away and goes to this screen saver mode. As soon as you press play or anything else the screen returns to normal. When you have the graduated clock switch it back off and it returns to the normal clock again. [SlimDevices: Radio] Step forward in iplayer listen again content
Hi, I know it is possible to fast forward through a listen again playback to a desired location but is it possible to step forward in larger chunks? Trouble I have found is that sometimes if you get the forwarding wrong the content starts again from the begining meaning you have to start again. I guess this is a BBC iplayer issue not the radio but does anyone know if there are plans to enable this? [SlimDevices: Radio] Pausing/Rewind Listen again/Podcasts
Hi all, First posting on here. Have looked around at lots of internet radios and the Squeezebox radio looks ideal but I would really like to know if it is possible to pause/rewind/forward through podcasts or BBC Listen again items? I often like to listen to a BBC Listen again show but would like to be able to pause it at points and resume again from the same place. If this can be done then this is looking like the one for me.
