I checked the server this morning though and it said it was up to date and that no update was availible. -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86475 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
[SlimDevices: Radio] Have to download and install upgrade every time i switch servers
Hey has this been happening to anyone else just recently? Now whenever i switch between SBS and mysqueezebox.com servers i am prompted to do the upgrade download and install each time. soo frustrating. i would just keep it on SBS but i too am getting the problem with not being able to see any internet radio stations anymore since the upgrade. -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86475 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Using radio headphone socket and speaker
you rock bluegaspode, you fixed it. adding that comment now has it behaving as i want it. i installed that headphones applet on page 1 of this thread. it has the option to have both the speaker and headphones enabled. and now with those comments it appears as if the speaker and headphones will stay enabled all the time, before and after an alarm which is great -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80484 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

you rock blugaslpode, thanks so much i tried the // before the line and it didnt work, so i was choked, but then scrolling through the code i saw alot of -- before comments, so i added those before the revert line and i think it worked! i appreciate your help -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80484 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Using radio headphone socket and speaker
Im wondering if the author of this plugin, or anyone who can code can help remedy an issue im having with the plugin. Steps 1. I have the headphone plugged in all the time 2. Before i goto bed, i make sure the option is set to 'Play through Both' 3. Alarm goes off in the morning through both speaker and headphone (good) 4. I say stop alarm 5. I then play any radio station and no sound comes from speaker, just from headphones (bad). (I have to go into the settings and enable the 'Both' option for it to play properly again) Can anyone help change the app so that in step 5, the music will play through the speaker without me having to re-enable the option? thanks alot -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80484 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Alarm Question - Not bashing...my alarm actually works great.
I can confirm that the monday alarm went off for me after not playing with the radio on sunday when the alarm icon wasnt there.although i did have server power control plugin running, but it went off which is great. -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82245 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

[SlimDevices: Radio] Restarted PC, couldnt see Internet Radio on squeezebox
Has this happened to anyone? i restarted my computer and the sbs server started okay by itself and was running when windows started. I went to the radio, was able to play my sirius channels via the 3rd party plugin, but i couldnt see 'My Apps' nor did any thing show up under 'Internet Radio'. I was also able to play the songs on my pc directory. This was resolved by stopping, and starting the sbs server. Id just rather not have to do this on each pc restart. anyone else experience this? -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82359 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

this plugin might be what you are looking for. it appears it will refresh the server on sunday by itself to make sure alarm for monday works. http://code.google.com/p/srvrpowerctrl/ -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82245 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

ok thanks for your help. do you use the plugin? what do you use it for? i just got my squeezebox this week and heard about the issue with the monday alarm not firing, so im looking to have it automatically wake the server for me sunday night. i would also like my radio to automatically switch to mysb.com if my sbs server goes down. is this all possible using the plugin? -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82162 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Why the need for 2 Server Types
I think the main reason is to have a backup server (mysb.com) in case your pc goes down. The radio still then has some functionality via mysb.com if your sbs server is down -- varunaX varunaX's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40697 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82162 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
