Just to finish this up, I called tech support back today and they have agreed to replace my Squeezebox Radio. Glad to know the problem isn't with my unit or network. At 9:18 AM CST on 12/31/2010 I still can't get more than a few seconds to play before it times out. This is the first time I've had problems with my Squeezebox Radio. I've enjoyed it so much that I've got a second one ordered plus two accessory packs. Happy New Year! That other thread seems to reference issues in Europe that have been resolved. I'm in Louisiana, US and still having the same issues. Well, my problem may be with my unit. A few minutes ago my second Squeezebox Radio arrived from Amazon. So I set it up on the same network as my original. It works perfectly. However, my original unit still won't stay connected more than a few seconds. Network configuration is the same for both units. Any suggestions? So I called Squeezebox Support (+1 (877) 887-8889) and talked for a long time with a very nice tech support rep. After we tried everything she knew to do, she talked to her supervisor who said the problem was still likely on their end (even though one of my Squeezebox Radios is working) so I should just wait. [SlimDevices: Radio] Dropped connection to MySqueezeBox.com
My SqueezeBox Radio can now only play about 30 seconds before it drops it's connection to mysqueezebox.com. I've done a factory reset twice. Then I changed from a wireless connection to an ethernet connection. That made no difference. Other items on my network including the laptop I'm using to write this message, a Roku and a Tivo Premiere all seem to be working normally.
