Sometimes Mediafly will autodelete the podcast it plays, but in anycase you dont have to delete older versions as they will just roll off in time. Another thing you could try is to install the app MediaFly and use it for your podcasts. Then go to Mediafly.com and subscribe. You will have to put these credentials into SBS if you are running the server or MySB.com if not. For whatever reason, I inadvertaintly turned off my clock radio alarm while attempting to snooze. Without my SBR wind chimes, i would have been late for work. The sbr saved me!! Yes, but slim devices is based in Mountain View, CA :) Nonetheless, This battery fiasco is ridiculous. They had plenty of time to build up stock while batteries were sitting in the warehouse, but then mere moments after the release of batteries, the batteries were sold out. Now batteries are for sale everywhere except the US where they are expected in April. It seems my hardware presets only work now if I manually connect to mysqb. If I am connected to SbS, it simply says preset undefined. It has a few UI issues and bugs software wise that need to be addressed, but I replaced a reciva based internet radio with this one and its already much more irreplacable and less buggy than the reciva one was. Thanks for the information. I didn't realize the alarm was available on mysb although it does make sense. I most definitely saved the alarm volume as I did it from the SqueezeCenter web center alarm screen. I did have headphones in, so perhaps the bug as mentioned in a previous thread is poking its head in. [SlimDevices: Radio] Possible bug in Alarm
I've had an issue where the volume on set on an alarm does not ever change despite the fact that I modify the global volume. I need to do more testing to confirm that this bug, but I had the alarm set initially too low and have constantly increased the volume on the slider to what should be a noticable 50 with no change in alarm volume. I set the remote login into my radio to allow SSH. Then I attempted to use putty using the radio's ip address. I kept getting connection refused. Is port 22 the correct port to go into? I also did not care too much for entering the mysqueezebox login information. That was painful, but not nearly as painful as entering my 26 letter wpa key...ouch!! It would be nice to have backlit keys as well. Unfortunately no WiFi is allowed at work so I want to use my Windows Mobile phone with WiFi router software, which operates via adhoc. I know other squeezebox devices can use adhoc, but just want to know that this should work with the radio. I am getting a little worried that the estimated ship date of Sep. 30th may drop since Amazon still has not issued a preorder date.
