Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Alarm since upgrading to 7.5.1

2010-10-08 Thread jonchill

I think I'll just have to remeber to enable every day I need an alarm
the next morning.

I like the raido the two main plus points for me are the portability
which I use round the house quite a bit and also the alarm. I think
I'll put up with the alarm for the benfit of the portability and hope
with all fingers crossed that Logitech get there fingers from up there
collective arses and do something about the alarm and make it usable.

Thanks

Indeed, the alarm functionality very poor indeed, and I agree that
Logitech should not continue selling the radio when it's not fit for
purpose. After months of trying everything I've finally got Logitech
to agree with this and I'm sending it back for a full refund.

So, it the end of my SB Radio experiment. I hope the next time
Logitech release a firmware update they don't cause so much chaos!

Yes, we have problems with alarm since the beginning (SBRadio connected
to mysqueezbox.com). An now, in France, mysqueezbox.com is out of order
the morning...

Welcome to our world! There are a number of threads on here and the
logitech support forums with users very unhappy with the performance of
the radio alarm. I am disappointed that this has not been sorted out and
indeed that the radio is still been sold when it is known to not be
fully functional...come on logitech it's all gone suspiciously quiet!!

[SlimDevices: Radio] Alarm since upgrading to 7.5.1

2010-10-07 Thread jonchill

On my previous version of server 7.4 the alarm would sometimes play my
radio channel and sometimes the default noise which is awful, so when
7.5.1 came out I decided to upgrade.

Now the alarm plays the radio station everytime but after each alarm
has been stopped, for some reason the alarm disables and I have to
re-enable everyday.

Is this something I can sort out as its a pain to remeber to re-enable
this every weekday?

Thanks

Jon
