[SlimDevices: Radio] Fed up with my SBRadio...
Yes, I am fed up with this device. Alarms often don't work : no sound at all () or back up alarm. Radio switches off "all alone", I have to siwtch it on myself and then no sound, put it off and on and it's ok !!! Display changes all alone : this evening I have the black display instead of the red one I have chosen. I want to say that : My Squeezebox Boom work without these problems (for the one concerned), somme problems are new from 7.5 and I have made no change in my internet system. Now I use "from time to time" this device, waiting for a day it will work better. I was interested in SBTouch, but, with the problems encounters with the "new" SBRadio it's better to wait a few months to have something working. I sure hope they finally realized now how completely broken the current software design and implementation is. Then again, this is at least 6 months too late. And looking at the current rate of improvement, it might take them another year or so to come up with a somewhat decent implementation. If at all. I'm tired and frustrated. My colleagues brag of their Chumbies and I can only claim that my alarm works correctly two or three times in a month.
