Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] I only get to Snooze
I like the new insensitivity. Now I can snooze by giving the Radio a slap without looking, and I don't have to worry about turning the alarm off any more. -- Soulkeeper -that is not dead which can eternal lie. and with strange aeons even death may die.- touch (sans caps) + duet + boom + radio (portable) / dd-wrt on linksys wrt160n / sbs 7.6.1 on w7(x86) with avira free Soulkeeper's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35297 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89613 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] I only get to Snooze
@netchord: I'm not entirely sure what you mean? If you know that you need to twist the knob quite a bit, It's pretty easy to do, even when halfway asleep. It cannot be over-turned. However it _is_ a different behavior than the knob displays in every other use-case, so some little help-text would be usefull. Do you know that you can click the standby-button to switch off the alarm, push the volume knob to snooze and Back(left arrow) to disable the alarm-mode but keep the stream playing. I never used the big knob to snooze out of fear of turning off the alarm by mistake. Don't know about the dimming-issue. I don't think I suffer from it? -- Muele BR Mogens 2 Radios (1 battery), 2 Controllers, 2 Receivers, 1 Softsqueeze (at work), SqueezeCommander and SqueezePlayer on Se X10 mini and HTC Desire. so, this is a feature, not a bug? http://forums.slimdevices.com/showpost.php?p=650296&postcount=5 if so, i don't like the behavior, feels broken. -- netchord -- 4 TB Drobo-->FW 800-->mac mini-->Ethernet Transporter--> Wireworld Eclipse 6 coax-->Meridian G61 G61--> Nordost Red Dawn-->Primare 30.3 Primare-->Ocos--Vienna Acoustics Beethoven/Maestro netchord's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21002 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89613 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] I only get to Snooze
Six clicks to be excact. Pretty good modification if you ask me. However it seems they introduced a small error at the same time: It is possible to move up as well as down. Only there is nothing up there. Would be nice if there was a "Disable alarm-mode and continue playing". Like when you click the back-button (#1 nice hidden feature). -- Muele BR Mogens 2 Radios (1 battery), 2 Controllers, 2 Receivers, 1 Softsqueeze (at work), SqueezeCommander and SqueezePlayer on Se X10 mini and HTC Desire. I use the "off" button on the Radio to turn the alarm off. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] I only get to Snooze
In order to not being able to accidentally turn off the 7.6 alarm too easily (whilst trying to snooze) you have to turn the big knob quite far in order to turn the alarm off (iirc it also only works in one direction, but I rather like it nonetheless). -- copperstate copperstate's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34756 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89613 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
[SlimDevices: Radio] I only get to Snooze
Hi I've upgraded my Squeezebox Radio player and the SqueezeServer to the latest versions, and now when my alarm goes off the big button refuses to move the selector off the snooze option and on to the off option. I'm having to use the power button to stop the alarm from entering snooze mode. Anyone else experiencing this? thanks Andy -- mozzer503 mozzer503's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20682 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89613 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
