I have a related question to this. I've just spent some time sorting out the config of the 3 SBR's in our household. They all link to a single mysb.com account now (I had a nightmare with 3 x mysb.com accounts - lesson learnt!), and there are 3 different lastfm accounts, with each SBR linked to a particular lastfm account. >From the menu shown on the screen of each SBR, all seems fine. Each radio points to the correct lastfm account. And, from within the settings page on my local SB server, all seems fine as well - each radio is pointing to the correct last.fm audioscrobbler account, and everything is enabled etc. There appears to be a problem with the mysb.com web page though. I am aware of the lack of synchronisation between mysb.com and local SBS, however I am experiencing the following: mysb.com->last.fm account settings tab: all fine - 3 accounts shown; mysb.com->last.fm player settings tab: all fine - options to map different lastfm accounts to different radios BUT... mysb.com->last.fm scrobbling tab: drop down to enable scrobbling for each player provides 2 options - "disabled", and JUST the first last.fm account name... Is this a cosmetic error? Should it simply be, "disabled" and "enabled", as the mapping between players and accounts has been done on another tab? Is it possible to scrobble tracks to my Last.FM account as they are played on the SBR from my media library? >From 7.4 onwards, you need to set both the Last.fm Audioscrobbler and Last.fm Radio to your account for it to scrobble correctly. If you set only the Last.fm Radio account to your account, it won't scrobble. Could this be your problem? I've promoted Last.fm Audioscrobbler option to my home menu, but it should be somewhere in settings. If not, you can set it on the web interface (Settings/Player/Last.fm Audioscrobbler). If you set that, does the music then scrobble? It's not enough to enable it, it needs to be set to your particular account. [SlimDevices: Radio] Last.fm scrobbling only half working
Hi there, just playing about with getting scrobbling running on my SBR. It doesn't seem to work as I expected it would. I'm running SBS 7.4.2-r29813 and on 7.4.2-r8355 firmware. I have setup the Last.fm app with my username and password, set scrobbling to on and enabled it on all players. I also enabled the last.fm plug-in on SBS (is this needed?). Anyway, I am currently playing my recommended station via the SBR and I get no reports of the played tracks via the last.fm website or in the My Recent Track in the SBR menu. However I just hit 'Love This Track' on the Radio and it appeared on the website, so there is communication there. Also playback via SBS is not being recorded either. Any ideas?
