Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Port Settings

2010-02-24 Thread toby10

Try changing your SBS server port within the UI:
SBS Settings Advanced Network Port Number

You are likely having issues with Internet Radio on 7.5 because 7.5
uses a different MySB.com server and your Radio is likely registered to
the standard (production) MySB.com
7.5 beta-MySB.com works as well as the regular MySB.com when the
players are properly associated with beta-MySB.com

I'd suggest using the 7.4.2 version for your usage. ;)

[SlimDevices: Radio] Port Settings

2010-02-23 Thread kylemax

I have had some problems but am figuring some of them out here on this
forum and I thank you. I downloaded a program that tests the radio and
connections and apparently my port 9000 is being used by something else.
So my question is where do I change it? I am guessing it is in the
network setting and I have a Port Start and a Port End and a Port Start
Map. Not sure what to enter and any help would be appreciated. It's a
nice radio when it is working but I would say it has been a roller
coaster trying to get it to work. I get the Connection Reset by Remote
Host alot. I did a different Firmware Beta Version and things work o.k.
but when I switch from mysueezebox.com to my computer, my computer
doesn't show any internet radio stations so I went back to the old
firmware.

I also wanted to know which firmware do most people find the most
stable. I tried the 7.5 beta version and was better than most but as
posted above it didn't seem to work well for the internet radio on my
computer server. Also wondering what the difference is between the
regular version and the embedded version. Thanks
