Nope. Boom ships with a 12v adapter but Radio is designed for 18v, and
needs 18v to charge the optional battery pack (and presumably you'd void
your warranty if you tried to run it on your 12v Boom adapter).

Is the power adapter the same as the one for the Boom? Just wondering if
I will be able to use either unit with an in-place power adapter by just
plugging it in.
