I got this device because I wanted to listen to some talk shows that I
cant get on AM in my area, and because I needed an alarm clock.
Unforchunately, I am having problems with both. First, I was somewhat
dissapointed to find out the your presets change between the server and
the my squeezebox. I found the station I wanted to play when I was
connected to the server in my house. Because, I don't run my computer
24 hours a day, I have to switch between my squeezebox and my computer
sometimes (for alarms). A bother, but not that bad. The thing is, I
can't get the radio station that I have saved on the server favorites
on mysqueezebox. I can't find it. I tryed to add it to favorites
through my squeezebox on the computer (putting the URL in there) I
tryed 3 different stations. For some reason, none of the favorites
show up on the squeezebox. for some reason, my station,
http://2973.live.streamtheworld.com/MARK_LEVINAACCMP3 cannot be
searched or found anywhere. But I can play it when I select it from my
favorites on my server. I found it by browsing through internet radio
talk shows, but I can't for the life of me find it now.
#2 The alarm is malfunctioning. It goes off at the time I set it for,
and, about a minute later, the alarm goes off again. After turining it
off a second time it stays off, but it is a major bother. I read that
this is a bug, and I'm going to call tech support and see what they
say, but does anyone here know a fix? I've got the latest firmware.
