Sometimes, by the time I got the Wifi back up I no longer wanted to listen to the music. :( Also, I'm interested in seeing if I could have something more by the time I am done...touchscreen instead of old LCD?! [SlimDevices: Radio] Replace dead radio guts with Raspberry Pi/PiCoreplayer
Hi - My Squeezebox radio finally died a while back, after years of various problems. I have previously built a PiCoreplayer, but miss the portability of of my radio. Has anyone tried to gut a Squeezebox Radio and replace it with a Raspberry Pi, including replacing the radio LCD and configuring the knobs? Just thinking it might be an interesting project, but, though the standalone player was pretty easy to set up, I'm not technical enough to figure out how to set up things like the knobs myself, so I was hoping someone had successfully done it.
