Sue, that is exactly the way I am going to use mine. The Radio will go into a full power off state after (I think) one hour of no use when it's on battery. Then it takes longer to turn it on. What I do is keep mine plugged in where there is an outlet. When I shower, I unplug and move it near the shower where there is no outlet, then move it back to the plug after I finish in the bathroom. -- MeSue SUE 1 Duet | 2 Booms | 1 Radio | 1 Touch (beta) | 1 SB2 HP MediaSmart EX470 | Squeezebox Server 7.4 | iPod Touch w/ iPeng Find me on 'Last.FM' (http://www.last.fm/user/MeSue) | 'Twitter' (http://twitter.com/suechastain) MeSue's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=985 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75107 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Battery Pack and Remote--Update please?
Thanks to all for the information. I guess finding a link where it's possible to pre-order is a step in the right direction. Since they are now holding off until March, I'll wait and try to get it from a source like Amazon.com where I won't have to pay shipping. I still wonder what the heck the issues are that are holding this up- it better work!! Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Battery Pack and Remote--Update please?
Interesting, if you go to the accessories from the radio page there is no pre-order and it says availability February 2010, but from a search I was able to find the kit for pre-order. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speakers_audio/wireless_music_systems/devices/6066&cl=us,en I see that there is no free shipping unless you spend $75, so the price ends up being $56.14 including shipping and an available date of March 31, 2010. I'm thinking it would be better to wait and purchase at Best Buy with a discount coupon once it becomes available, or maybe Logitech will have a sale price as they have with the radio itself. -- davein davein's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35659 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75107 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
