Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] List of Radio Stations available

If using ShoutCast be sure to set the Bitrate Limit so you only see the
higher bitrate (better sounding) streams.
Mine is usually set to 192k, sometimes I'll drop it to 128k.

I'd rather limit my choices to only 20 stations of a particular genre
that are high bitrate than be presented with 400+ stations of mixed
high and low bitrate plus duplicates of the same streams. ;)

I wish RadioTime had this Bitrate Limit feature. This is the primary
reason I do not use RadioTime. :(

Also, for Classical music, search for AVRO and Linn, they have a number
of 320k streams.

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] List of Radio Stations available

One service alone, ShoutCast, boasts over 46,000 stations. Combining
all stations and services that SqueezeBox and it's contributing vendors
supply would probably be well over 100,000 stations.
That would be one heck of a list to view, maintain, and manage. ;)

All stations in the Internet Radio menu's are managed by RadioTime.
You might want to try using their web UI for such searches and station
management.
You can create folders and set presets on their web UI that will then
be available to your player via the RadioTime App.

I'd also recommend the ShoutCast App for Classical music stations.
They offer over 20 stations at 192k or higher, probably over 100
stations at 128k or higher.

Thanks for the good advice. I'll try to do it that way.

I also own Radio Gaga and Radium on my computer, and each one has its
own frustrating issues with station display and search. SB's seems more
thoughtful than the others.
