Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Put in standby in x minutes ?

I don't think you can assign standby to one of the preset buttons. Pick
any of the black buttons, pick long or short press of that button.
AFAIK that is the closest you can get.

Thank you for this first solution, as I have version 7.6.1 !!!
But I really would like to assign this action to one of the 6
favourites buttons: it's really easier to use when I'm tired (the Radio
is next to my bed).

program a custom button press (short press or long press) to the sleep
function?

I did this for my dad, I programmed that a short press of the "more
(+)" button will bring up his favorites.

Can the same be done for sleep function?

Placing Sleep on your Home menu is your best bet. ;)

2011-08-27 Thread Mnyb

Ok the actual design error on Radio is the lack of that nice
rubberized/snooze sleep button, or any dedicated sleep/snooze button .

But if you are running 7.6 version you can move it to the home menu .

When you are on the sleep icon a short press on "+" would bring up a
menu to move it .
This will save one button press at least.

Also you can now hide or move icons up and down in the menus in 7.6
just use th "+" button to get a context menu

I bought one of these batteries on ebay without remote (less expensive).

Thanks for your answer, but I don't have any remote.
The sequence you give is too long: can I assign this operation to one
of the 6 "favorite buttons" ?

If you use the Radio remote (same as Boom) it's the same as the Boom,
just press Sleep.
On the Radio itself absent a remote you must use Radio > Settings >
Sleep
