Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Two SBRs are interacting with each other
Do the MAC addresses look OK and different? Has one SBR UI chosen the other one via Settings/Choose Player ? Menu "Settings, Squeezebox name". Furthermore, on a Radio, menu "Settings, Choose player" allows the Radio to control a _different_ player. It may be worth having a look there. mrw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=38299 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113180 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Two SBRs are interacting with each other
I reset the newer SBR to factory config, and the seller deleted the device from his account. Initially the newer SBR worked as it should. Are you using LMS? If so, which version? Feel free to send me the MAC addresses (PM), and I can see whether there's something wrong in the mysb database. -- Michael ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

If they are both named "squeezebox radio" changing the name(s) might help you understand whats what. edit - I see mrw suggested the same... Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] Two SBRs are interacting with each other
What happened: I powered up old SBR b/c new SBR wouldn't connect to ntwk. Suddenly on its own, after the old SBR booted up, the new SBR connected to ntwk, and its controls command the other radio. Actually, that's what is happening: on the new Radio you selected to control the other Radio. The new one serves as a remote control for the other. "Player type: Remote" means it's acting as a remote, not as the player. Go to Settings/Select Player and select the other device. You should probably give them distinct names ;-). -- Michael ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
