Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] n00b help. Can't press enter after typing in info.
Factory reset was the only way that I could get through the registration process. Power-cycle didn't do it. It hung numerous times, after connection to wireless, trying to register with the Logi servers. Took me an hour to get the damn thing connected, including half an hour on the phone with tech support. -- jef jef's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30360 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71305 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] n00b help. Can't press enter after typing in info.
To go to the next screen, you press the big round knob in the middle of the Radio front panel. This knob is the same one that you turn to choose menu items. Once you enter in a network name or password, you press the big round knob. It works like the Enter key on a keyboard. Are you saying that you've tried this but nothing happens? If so, you might need to unplug the AC cord and plug it back in. That should work. If not, you can perform a Factory Reset by following these steps: 1) unplug the AC cord from the rear of the Radio, 2)hold down the + key on the front panel, 3) plug in the AC cord into the rear, and 4) release the + key when Factory Settings Restored screen appears. One of those should do the trick. Please post back here with your findings. Not a fix, but a workaround: Bypass the MySB login section on the Radio, connect the Radio to your SBS running on your computer. This "should" register the player on MySB.com for you. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] n00b help. Can't press enter after typing in info.
Thanks for responding, James! I tried both ethernet and wi-fi. I've tried pulling the AC and factory resetting but it still fails. I purchased two Radios and was able to set up the second easily. (Although, sometimes the pop-up window where information such as "Like this track" goes is blank and requires pulling the AC to fix. Is that normal?) -- fluorescent fluorescent's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34253 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71305 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

Are attaching to your network via Ethernet or WiFi? If you Power Cycle the unit (pulll ac) and start over does it work or still fail? -- jrichardson James R.
