Unfortunately, he only ever went there one time. I have from the very beginning been very aware of how different America and Indonesia society are. I tried to prepare my husband that he would not find a mosque anywhere he may be on Friday to pray at, that he would not hear the call to pray in the streets, etc. I also researched soccer clubs for adults as he loves to play and anything else I could think of including college which he wishes to attend so that he could quickly find a feeling of home, community and comfort here.
