Wow!!! Looks alien to a tropical guy like me who now lives in the SF Bay Area... Kudos to you for riding when it's like that outside!!! Uggh, what a sufferfest. 200k of rain, heavy legs, rain, wind, rain, cold, more rain, some sun, and still more rain for the final 4 miles or so. [RBW] Re: All Rounder on Chicago CL
Wheels are Mavic 217 SUP laced to XTR hubs (M950 I think). Tires are Vredestein Monte Carlo. I know nothing about them , but they're like new, so I guess I'll be using them for a while. Not really sure how I will build this up, it was really an impulse buy. I'm picturing something on the heavy duty end of the spectrum. I threw some drop bars and a seat on it last night and rode it around my living room. (my wife was out ). It reminds me of the XO-1 I sold a while back. I would like to do a little research on the frame, it has a Waterford decal and a "96" in the serial #. The original owner said it was custom made, which makes sense, the 56cm seat tube and 56cm top tube don't match up with the standard geo info I've found, but it felt perfect while I was chasing my dog around the house. Not having any brakes made it interesting! [RBW] Free Small Stuff, for shipping
Greenfield Aluminum Kickstand - Saw the recent enthusiasm for kickstands on the list. I have a Made in USA, greenfield aluminum kickstand. Single bolt, dual clamp style. Looks a bit like the Pletscher. Google shows images. It is free to a good home. Needs to be cleaned up and lubricated. Appears to be cut at the 265mm line on the back. I have no need. Pulled from a steel Trek. Likely to be 4 or 5 dollars to ship. Rivendell Burrito Wrap - Just a piece of cloth, like they still sell. Has some marks on it, but is essentially unused. Should be able to get it in an envelope and out to someone for 2 dollars or less. http://www.rivbike.com/products/show/burrito-wrap/20-003 Free to anyone who will use them. Just email your interest and address. Cheers, Sean -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
