[RBW] WTB: Large Gus Boots

2021-01-16 Thread twowheeledtexan
Just checking to see if anyone is willing to part with a large Gus Boots.
I'd like to build one up for this summer's travels and looks like new ones
won't be in stock at Riv until mid-late summer. Frame only, or complete,
doesn't matter. Thanks in advance, Aaron!

2021-01-16 Thread Joe Bernard
I've only ever seen that model in the nominal 700c size, which Riv lists as
for 700 or 650. I have an old set of SKS that came on a Bombadil 650b and
fit great, I'm pretty sure they're the model you're looking at.

[RBW] B65 fenders in 650B?

2021-01-16 Thread Den John
Hello,

Does anyone know if the SKS B65 fender is (or ever was) available in 650B
size?
Or do people just use the 28" version?

(the SKS B65 is the fender that Rivendell recommend for tyres around 55mm)

Thanks,

Johnny in Belgium

An excellent younger woman friend has learned what she needs to know
To want to get a better bike. Her PBH is 29 or so and she is intrerested in
a Rambouillet or similar. I am helping her shop. Does anyone have something
which would move our buddy Ali into longer more comfortable day rides or
light tours?

Thanks

Thanks again
