[RBW] WTB: 56cm Quickbeam

2018-05-14 Thread Evan Jahn
Apologies if this sort of post is frowned upon or in the wrong place, but does
anyone have a 56cm Quickbeam they’d like to sell to me? If you do, I’d very
much like to buy it.

[RBW] Re: NYC bike shops and rentals

2013-03-16 Thread Evan Jahn
The Hub and Waterfront Bikes are both great for rentals. The Hub is also
one of the city's better shops for practical city bikes and is worth a
visit:

http://www.hubcycles.com/
http://www.bikeshopny.com/

Other interesting shops to check out:

http://www.redlanternbicycles.com/
http://www.adelineadeline.com/
http://bicyclerenaissance.com/
http://www.bikecult.com//works/index.html

I learned from a blug post a while bike that Grant visited
http://www.bikeshopny.com/ and http://www.bikecult.com//works/index.html on
his book tour. The latter is a Riv dealer, too, I believe.

I'm spending the first week of April with my wife in NYC. We're hoping for
good weather and to potentially get some riding in. Clearly we won't be
packing up our rivs for such a short trip so I wanted to ask the list if
there are any rental places you all might recommend and/or shops I should
be sure to peak in. I'm spoiled living a short distance from walnut creek
where the best shop of them all resides, but it would be cool to check out
 some interesting shops.

 Thanks!

[RBW] FS: 58cm Simpleone in NYC

2012-12-27 Thread Evan Jahn
Hello,

This is my first post and I apologize if I'm breaking any rules by it being
a for sale post. Here's a link to a local Craigslist ad I have running
for my Simpleone. An injury and medical bills force its sale. Perhaps
someone here will be interested. Thanks --
