The hub is sold, but I still have the black Edelux if anyone's interested.

Thanks,

[RBW] FS Son Hub Edelux

2011-06-24 Thread Jonathan Mitchell
Thought I'd give this another go before heading off to the Bay..

I bought both of these for a project that is on hold for a long while and
can use the money more than these beautiful parts sitting on my shelf :)

The hub is polished silver, 32 holes, with skewer, manual and connectors.
Perfect condition, took it out of the box to admire then put back gently.

The light is black and comes with the 140 cm cable. I took it out of the
package (just a plastic ziploc) only to make sure it lit. Simply pressed the
ends of the wire to the contacts of a dynamo wheel spinning in a truing
stand. Comes with manual and connectors.

I have photos I'd be happy to send if it's helpful.

New on Peter White cycles the hub goes for $253 and the light $195 plus
shipping

Asking $215 shipped for the hub and $165 shipped for the light, $370 shipped
for both.

I haven't seen these ever on sale, so I think these are fair prices. Let me
know, would love these to get some use!

Also willing to consider partial trade for a black Brooks B17 or a Selle
Anatomica

Thanks,

Jonathan

[RBW] Re: FS: Son 28 hub (Silver) Edelux light (Black), both NIB

2011-06-06 Thread Jonathan Mitchell
Thanks all for the great response and apologies in advance if I'm not
able to return all emails right away--work got unexpectedly busy.
Thought I'd write this to get word out to anyone interested.

As a quick clarification, I do like the idea of a trade/s and ideally
looking for a black saddle, open to an imperial or standard b17 or
flyer too. Potentially open to other trades.

It may take me a day or two to sort things out and I'll try to get
back to each person. Thanks in advance,

Jonathan

[RBW] Re: FS B17 and Selle Anatomica saddles

2011-06-05 Thread Jonathan Mitchell
Let me know if you'd be at all interested in trading either or both for a
new Son hub and/or Edelux light.

I just listed them in their own FS post.

Thanks,

Jonathan

[RBW] Re: WTB: Schmidt SON Edelux

2011-06-01 Thread Jonathan Mitchell
Mike,

My downstairs neighbor pointed me to this group and your request. He knew I
had a surplus SON hub and Edelux...

I have a new in the box SON 28 32 hole in silver and a new in the bag (that
seems to be how they come...) black Edelux. I took the Edelux out of the bag
and held the wire ends agains the contacts of a spinning Shimano dyno just
to test it, but it has not been mounted.

They are both very, very pretty things and I had planned to use them for a
project, but have finally come to my senses about my budget :)

Please feel free to contact me directly if you're interested at
mitchelljonat...@gmail.com

Thanks,

Jonathan
