[RBW] Re: Silver 2 shifters on Shimano barend pods

Thank you Joe, that is exactly the information I needed. Besides the tab 
not fitting anywhere I thought the big washer was too thin and just set it 
aside, but now I see that is not the case. I think I should be able to cut 
and file the tab off pretty cleanly, and will be all set. If that doesn't 
work I'll give RBW a call, now that I know what I'm looking for.

I highly recommend Limmer Boots, especially the Ultra-Light model.

Limmer is the Rivendell of the boot world (or, given their heritage, 
perhaps Riv is the Limmer of the bike world might be more accurate!).

[RBW] Re: Looking for an all-road bike to hire for a week in Boston area

Urban Adventours (https://www.urbanadventours.com/) in downtown Boston 
rents decent road and cyclocross bikes. Friendly folks. A little on the 
spendy side but you might be able to work out something reasonable if 
you're renting the bike for a while. Worth checking out, anyway.

That time of year can be dicey weather-wise, but lots of great riding to be 
had!
