[RBW] Re: Cargo e-bikes are an amazing concept, but the options are imperfect
Edwin, I’m jumping in here after following this thread - the fr8 looks great! We’re looking for a car replacement cargo bike and the v8 looks like a winner. I’ve checked with Workcycles and they won’t ship ebikes internationally but it looks like converting one with a bafang kit or similar wouldn’t be too difficult. Patrick, Cost of shipping two frame boxes and one wheelset was $350USD via Bikeflights/FedEx. UPS would have been substantially more costly but provide much better service (Bikeflights took close to a month to arrange paperwork before they could be dispatched).
