[RBW] Crazy New Urban S240
my kids have loved front yard and back yard sleep outs since they were babies. my son and i did a three mile backpack hike to camp out in a friends back yard. chili on the campstove for dinner. oatmeal and coffee for breakfast, and then another hike home. the point is that an s24o is a campout of the mind. if you think you are on a camp out its a microvacation -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. My friend Sergio (who is, incidently, a lurker on this list) came up with a brilliant idea: A nice long ride followed by a camp-out in his back yard! What a hoot. We rode along Minnehaha Creek, down to Fort Snelling, up the Mississippi through Mendota Heights and back to South Minneapolis. Stopped at the butcher, picked up brats, grilled them in his back yard with some other friends, set up our tents, built a fire in the fire pit, and slept out. This morning, there was a bathroom...life is good. It's actually a great idea for the urban dweller and I do believe we'll do it again! give it a try and report back! Now this is an idea I can get behind, I like the own bathroom part the best. if it drops below 100 any time soon I will give it a go, what a great idea! I had been stymied on S24Os thus far but this is a great idea. Thanks for the inspiration! Re: [RBW] Crazy New Urban S240
I like it. Otherwise the options around the Twin Cities are somewhat limited unless you like to stealth camp. Coot alert! - am old enough to remember when folks were allowed to camp in Fort Snelling State Park. The area under the Mendota bridge. One set of grandparents would drive all of 5 miles, put up the pop up, and we'd spend the night.
