Hello! Sorry to iBOB listers for the crosspost. I started making basic small bags and have a couple for sale here: treetop.bigcartel.com
Short story and Riv content... I tried to set my new Riv Redwood up as a front rack loaded rando style bike. Affected handling too much for my taste. This coincided with finding some small pieces of cotton duck and the great bag experiment started to outfit my Redwood with bags that didn't rely on rack supports. Basically I wanted to split loads between a saddle wedge and a front bag. The experiment continues and basic bag making has become a fun hobby. I'll continue to make bags, some for myself to test, some to sell to raise money for more bag-related tools. Just a note as well. Custom bags probably aren't in my plans in the near future. Input is welcome though! I'm going to design a rackless front bag shortly. Any thoughts on front bags that attach to handlebars/stem-or-headtube?
