I'm moving and need to shed stuff. This should all fit in a USPS flat rate
envelope for 6.45
Here is a small collection of classic bicycle themed articles/books- note,
these are photocopies, not the originals. They were given to me years ago by a
friend who owns a bike shop. He copied these from an old-timer employee.
Classic stuff mostly from the "Bike Boom" era.
Building Bicycle Wheels- by Robert Wright 1977
Sprocket Man - bike safety comic book from MIT 1976
Cycl-ology - catalog from Wheel Good Corp, from Minneapolis. Looks like late
60's, tons of classic parts and articles. I think this is the kind of thing
Grant was basing his Bridgestone catalogs on. Like the Whole Earth Catalog for
bikes. I guess former employees founded Flanders Cycle. See first paragraph
here: http://flandersbros.com/history/
Some other random bike info sheet copies (Raleighs and Gitanes and such)
Plus some maps: random Maine, New Hampshire, Mass, and Michigan bike maps.
Everything goes as a package. I just want to pass this stuff along rather than
putting it in the recycling bin. It's all a really interesting time capsule of
cycling in the past decades. I just don't want to cart it along on one more
move.
PayPal friends and family preferred.
Cheers- Mike in Bklyn, NY, but not for long
