Well, Ken didn't specify how much run time he wanted, just a large display.

I use a New Trent rechargeable battery brick to power my phone on my bike.
 I keep it in a Soma Munch Box and run a USB cable from there to my
handlebar mount.  The New Trent version I have holds 8900 mAh, which is a
lot of juice.  I tested it one weekend on an all-day event that included
80-ish miles of gps usage in addition to various off-bike activities.  When
I pedaled back into my driveway 13 hrs later, my phone battery was at 100%
and my New Trent was still at 75%.

And the new bricks hold 11,000 mAh.  They're a little spendy, but, imo, a
pretty worthwhile investment for bike camping, randonneuring and other times
you're interested in keeping something charged without ready access to a
plug.
