Well, Ken didn't specify how much run time he wanted, just a large display. :-) I use a New Trent rechargeable battery brick to power my phone on my bike. I keep it in a Soma Munch Box and run a USB cable from there to my handlebar mount. The New Trent version I have holds 8900 mAh, which is a lot of juice. I tested it one weekend on an all-day event that included 80-ish miles of gps usage in addition to various off-bike activities. When I pedaled back into my driveway 13 hrs later, my phone battery was at 100% and my New Trent was still at 75%. And the new bricks hold 11,000 mAh. They're a little spendy, but, imo, a pretty worthwhile investment for bike camping, randonneuring and other times you're interested in keeping something charged without ready access to a plug.
