[RBW] Re: Ernesto Lube Users ?
Thanks for the input. There's nothing worse that lube that does spatters. I've used pro-link for along time, and I'll stick to that for now. I may try some home brew thoughmineral spirits and Mobil 1 synthetic,as I have quite a bit of it. I was wondering if Ernesto Lube was even a real product, he doesn't answer repeated emails. The only written stuff on the web seems to be from bloggers who get paid to write about such things. Eco-snake oil I guess. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. [RBW] Re: Ernesto Lube Users ?
I tried Ernesto and quickly gave up on it because when it came off the chain as the chain spun, the oil and gunk would adhere to the rear rim and spokes and was a bear to get off. It mostly came off when it rained. I used the regular procedure of oiling the chain and then wiping it with a rag, but there were always small amounts on the rims and spokes after a ride. Garth wrote: Has anyone tried this vegetable oil based chain lube? If so is it self cleaning like Pro-Link or how does one clean the chain? I've tried 3 emails to Ernesto Lube over the last 2 weeksno replies. I don't know if he's still in business or what. While we're at it..How about the El Duke degreaser anyone tried that for better or worse? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group.
