Re: [RBW] Re: FW: For Sale; Tom Ritchey fillet brazed LONG Frame, Fork, HS

2014-01-04 Thread iamkeith
Marc,

As I said, no grievance or hard feelings whatsoever! At the price you sold
it to me for, it was worth the risk and worth the effort, and I'm really
happy with what it turned out to be - even if it wasn't my original
vision. I have no regrets. As I said in that other thread, it now sees
way more use than I ever thought it could, too. And if you think about
it, that's a better fate for any bike than a life as garage wall-art! Glad
you got to see the final result, though! Happy new year!

Keith

Bought it and Built it up as a beater with spare parts, didn't like riding
 it, sold it.
Sure turned out to be classy cargo bike, though! Congratulations.
Please know that if you ever again buy something from me and are not happy

Don't know if he'll answer, but I can tell you that he doesn't have it.
because I bought it. If it makes you feel better, it wasn't quite the
deal I'd hoped it would be. (Not airing a grievance here - no real foul or
harm done, considering the price.) If you or Marc or anyone else
is interested in seeing what happened to it though, you can read through
this thread I started on the MTBR VRC forum, which is the other place I
tend to spend time when not here. I made the best of it, and it is kind of
fun.

Holy cow... that price is a GIFT.

Of course, I also own a Timber Comp, which (1) I really like, and (2) I
think is worth more than that.
