glad you found your head badge.  At a water stop on an overcast day last 
weekend, I left my glasses sitting on my small front trunksack and rode 
off.  When I got home and realized I wasn't wearing my glasses, my heart 
skipped.  Before heading back to my water stop, I looked at my front rack 
and they had hooked themselves there and somehow stayed for the end of my 
ride.

My Black Mountain Cycles road bike has a head tube decal, with screw heads 
as part of the graphic!  It's one of my favorite things in the history of 
things.

Too bad about the head badge.  Clear silicone caulking works very well.  A 
dollop on the back of the badge is all you need.  hNg the bike from a hook 
so that the head tube is rather horizontal while the silicone cures.

Och! Brutal. No idea what the Riv. recommendation is (I'd call and ask), 
but I've glued St. Christopher Medals to bikes using Rubber Cement. Apply 
thinly to both (well cleaned) surfaces, allow to dry (15 minutes?), press 
together with solid grip and hold for a few minutes. That's it. Never lost 
one, but I don't have one my my Hunqapillar, which gets the roughest 
treatment on trails.

My painter used 3m automotive tape to adhere, just make sure you get the
thinnest you can with Max bond. I have an envelope fill of samples I got
sent if you want to wait I can mail it over but most of it can be found at
autozone.

Wouldn't you need to thread the hole? Or else some epoxy on the screw would
work but then you are back to glue.
