[RBW] Re: How's the big basket/small rack combo work out?
I do not see any reason the large Wald basket would work just fine on the M-12 rack. That said, the medium basket is just great and has very big overfill capacity when used with a net. I bought a Sackville rack bag and have an Acorn handlebar bag on another bike. But the simplicity of the rack and net get used most often. http://www.flickr.com/photos/79695460@N00/7832253824/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. You could also use some wooden pieces running underneath the basket to support the wire, though I think this would mostly be necessary if you're transporting something very dense that could bend the wire i.e: shopping bag full of canned goods On Saturday, November 3, 2012 9:43:25 PM UTC-4, Scot Brooks wrote: I have a Nitto M-12 and I'd like to put the big Wald basket on it. Going to give my Acorn handlebar bag a break for the winter and just setup a regular rack on an M12. Only concern is over-filling it weight-wise. Any guesses as to a weight limit for this combo? Thanks! David On Sunday, November 4, 2012 10:01:45 AM UTC-6, Mojo wrote: I do not see any reason the large Wald basket would work just fine on the M-12 rack. Thanks Jim. I'm practically swimming in zip ties, so it's full steam ahead then.
