I loved my 2010 (solid) orange Hillborne so much I bought a 2012 (solid) green Hillborne, I built them up very very nearly identically and ride both regularly. Fantastic bikes! Congratulations! I wanted to wait for the blue /cream combination that is due to arrive in September.I like the look of the detailed head tube.But I was told there wouldn't be any 58cm in that shipment..So I got the sage.If it was a big deal I could have it painted at a local bike paint shop before it's assembled but the sage will be fine I'm sure. Congrats on the bike...the Sam is a really good all arounder that does well touring, trail riding, and road riding. It was my first Rivendell and I still love it, even after getting the Roadeo. I tell you though, I'm kinda torn between the cream head tube and just having a solid color. My Sam is orange with a solid head tube color but I got the Roadeo orange too, but with a cream headtube. I don't know which one I like better. I would say I fall slightly in the the solid color camp, even though I love my Roadeo to death.
