Patches are in stock and ready to ship! The second run of patches arrived 
on Monday. If you bought a patch, they're in the mail. I addressed all the 
envelopes last night, and got the patches in the box shortly after 
midnight.

About the patches: The three bicycles show the three different production 
runs of Rivendell's Quickbeam bicycle: Green (like mine), Orange, and 
Silver. Each bike is shown set up in a different way, with different tires, 
bars, and style. The knobbies on the green one came out really well - 
offroad fixed gear, with flared drops and a front bag. The orange one is 
set up as a light road machine, with only a seat bag, and the silver is 
"flaneur" style, with matching bags front and rear, and upright bars. 
These are very high-quality 4" patches, embroidered in America by a bicycle 
afficionado, made to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Quickbeam 
bicycle and the 20th anniversary of Rivendell Bicycle Works. If you like 
fixed gear bikes, singlespeeds, Rivendells, or patches, you are welcome to 
get one.

Ha! I did almost add about learning, "and that's an end in itself." 
I'd print and dye to bandanas. I have a plan, but I don't know what 
resolution the technology will hold. Which might mean new art. 
Colors TBD. They'll be tone-on-tone, like seafoam green bandana, darker 
green artwork. Same idea for orangy-yellow or lightish blue. Suggestions 
are welcome.

Mine may have finally arrived (if they shipped in an envelope small enough 
to fit in our wee PO Box), but no way to get to the post today. So,

I did (after driving back across town to return the screenprinting supplies 
and bandana blanks) then say, "okay, that frees up my weekend!"

I will make a good-faith effort to mail out non-attendee's stuff on Monday. 

My difficult issue is going to be reconciling attendees who paid for 
shipping. Do they want it shipped? Was it a 'tip?' Did they miss the "local 
pickup" coupon? Will I owe them money? 

So...* if you paid for shipping, AND you're on the attendee list*, expect 
an email from me this weekend asking for clarification. 
If you paid shipping and said, "sure wish I could be there!" expect your 
package by the 12th, Elvis willing.

Shirts are in my posession, patches are ETA Saturday! I could conceivably 
mail out non-attendee's shirts Monday or Tuesday, depending on how good I 
get at logistics this weekend. 

*There will be no posters or bandanas at this time*, since the printshop 
inadvertently destroyed the screens. I hope no one is as bummed and angry 
as I was about that, since that kind of reaction does no one any good. It's 
a disappointment, sure, but the world is full of cool bike art in the $30 
range! 

If you absolutely need something to hang on your wall, I will put the two 
original drawings on Etsy as original art at around $100 each.

Thanks a ton for your faith in this project - I'm pretty happy with the way 
the stuff turned out!

fly their Ent/Riv flags proudly, whether they're coming to the event or 
not. 

My feeling is that we are an internet bike club with a distributed 
membership, and we participate in spirit, if we can't participate in body. 
I do think it would be cool if all the Quickbeams were out riding on 
Saturday the 12th, all across the country, but it's not a condition of 
getting a patch.

are attending the Entmoot and only then processing your order. Grin.

UPDATE: New version of the patch.
If you were holding off on getting a patch because of the ugly stem and 
cranks, I fixed the artwork.

It looks really good - I'm super happy with the work. 

Teeshirt blanks and artwork is at the printers today, as well. The shirt 
prints will be 11" wide, which brings posters and bandanas back in play. 
Is anyone interested in having an in-camp crafting session where you print 
your own bandana? Maybe dye them?
